Whilst studying medicine in Tokyo, I was nostalgic of home, of timeworn street in rural Taiwan villages. The setting may be from the hills surrounding Shilin District of northern Taipei, or a village from my dreams. The young lady is fashioned after Modigliani (莫迪里亞尼), but she still resembles the women of tropical Taiwan.
