Unlike previous works, which uses points, lines, and surfaces, this piece uses multiple colors to outline the setting sun as the central point. The use of warm colors portrays the theme of nostalgia, and presents the rural village in a dream-like, romantic atmosphere. This piece is an example of the combinations between Romanticism and Cubism.
