Although the opium poppy is used in the production of the drug opium, it can relieve patients from pain and suffering. Therefore Hsu imagined above the skies of China, there may exist the largest opium flower in the universe, where fairies relax and play the flute.This piece combines the classical painting technique of Chinese landscaping,combined with elements of imagination and fantasy, using different techniques to create a single image. This shattered the concept of “single image, single space”, and depicts a world without suffering, an untarnished world.
