When Hsu arrived inParis, he visited the Lido Theatre to enjoy the show, Madama Butterfly. Since the Lido Theatre was renowned for burlesque shows, Madama Butterfly in this work is shown in a half see-through Chinese dress. The work also includes the Notre-Dame, River Seine, Paris’ most ornate bridge, the Pont Alexandre III, and lastly the Eifel Tower.
