The Nyatapola Temple is Nepal’s tallest and most beautiful building. The Nepalese fairies appear high in the skies. The difference with Chinese fairies is that they are nude and has four arms, soaring through the sky in yoga asanas. All the varieties of Hindi Gods: Bird God, Lion God, Thousand Arms God are lined upon the two sides of the staircase. The appearance of the elephant form ofGanesha God and fairies in the four corners adds another layer of mystique to the work.
