During childhood, I passed by Xiluo Temple every time I went to school. The familiar imagery of a mother carrying her child whilst buying fruits, hawkers selling snacks, and little shops to buy cold drinks appear.

 The lines of the old tree are drawn through a curved Cubism technique, showing quirky characteristic to the painting.
